Whenever any one ask me “what you want to eat”. My 1st impulse answer is “Japanese!!” … then it's like “(^.^)"'Japanese Again!!...sien lar”…okok…I’m unimaginative when come to what I want to eat… If rephrase the question to… “ What we gonna eat?”… “Ahah….I will rattle off different selections, places, foods…”
So tonight is Japanese… U know what type of question asked lor…hehe…he ^o^
We have been here before when they newly opened about 6 month, tonight we return & see they have removed the frosted glass, which were an improvement (last time we were here, the waitress can’t see us, we have to literally “call & catch” their attention to serve us. Last time we ate here, the food didn’t fare well, we rate it slightly below average)
Since visually is improve, I was hoping to give them 2nd chance also…
We order Green Tea hot
Mini Katsudon RM24; It came with: Green tea cold soba & soba sauce, Rice topped with chicken cutlet & fried eggs, Salad, Chawan Mushi, miso soup, spring onions, radish & quail eggs
Verdict; All tasted Average, nothing bad or outstanding, the soba remain al dente & QQ, but portion is very very small.
Carpaccio Combo RM28: Salmon, Tuna, Maguro, Tuna, Butter Fish Sashimi 1 slice each
Verdict ; The slices were thin, looks not fresh & doesn’t entice at all, the mayo, fried garlic, tomato salsa, vinaigrette overwhelms the sashimi, which suppose be the main star.
Chinmi Moriwase RM18; Presentation is great on mussels half shell on a bed of radish & carrots slivers.
Verdict; But still averaged, nothing outstanding. They dyed the sesame seed bright green ('-')…
Ikura Sushi RM12 ; Salmon Roe on sushi rice, wrapped with nori
Verdict; The roe looks gel like & unappetizing, the nori was not crisp at all, taste test verified this is unfresh (^_^)"", looks & taste like been sitting on the counter all day
Damage done plus tax: RM 96.60
I never want to come back here….
