We were invited to an "Investor Seminar" at Damansara Utama. After spending 1hr 30 min listening to benefits of investing in a water filter company, we politely decline. Having our tummy grumbeling, we headed to Umai-Ya. The setting is cozy & small. Seated on our cushioned floor with leggings below the table, we order Green Ocha RM1. The menu is not too extensive. Mostly cater to typical japanese selections.
Seafood Salad RM20 (-15%) - Tangy salad sauce, topped with tabiko roe & grated turnip. The salad has prawns, salmon, tuna, kani & green vege. We wrap up the seafood in salad greens...yummy. It's light & lovely as appetiser.
(HB) Sizizling Mix Seafood Set RM34 - Prawns, Salmon, Squids, Oyster. Tasty & abit spicy, goes well with rice. Chawan Mushi - Tofu - 2 Watermelon & 1 melon Slice
Umai-ya A SP Set -RM36 Macha Soba, light & refreshing. Ildako Salad- Sashimi Salmon,Butter - Fried Fish Sausage - Salmon. Tuna cube come with thin slice of ladyfinger & bonito flakes - cute presntation.
We also ordered Shisamo RM14 (-15%). It came in 3 piece. The size is bigger than most place we went to.
