Day 7 Kuching: Orang Utan Santuary Park & Sarawak Cultural Village ( 70 photos)

Orang Utan Santuary Park have a strict feeding timezone, 9am -10am, so we set off at 8am.

There were quite numbers of tourist there waiting at the entrance, we took the chance to capture few mommy & babies orang utan having breakfas & we waited for the feeding location, deep in the jungle. The ranger cry & howl like wolk to call out the supposely wild orang utan. However we were dissapointed after 1 hr wait & we were ushered out & sent packing..

We managed to return to the hotel & ready for our 2nd sight seeing at Sarawak Cultural Village, which were just 2 corners away from the hotel.Having browse around the quiet area, we enter each bumi house & few house actively welcome their guest & were treated to some short dance & traditional music. We finally walk back to the hotel on fook , takes 1/2 hour to reach.

After a short break, we loaded our gear & try our hand fishing beside the hotel front. We near a small stream flowing cold water out to the warm sea... This place is loaded with small fish. jason managed to catch a fairly med sized catfish, while i caught small zeebra & small catfish, all baited with white squid. Jason tried to bait a large red garupa, but managed to turn away at the very last wave.
After few hours fishing at the beach, the sun set low & we headed back to soak from the warm tub.

This is our last nite in Sarawak, we are flying back KL tomorrow....yippeee...
