We flew back to Kuching & promptly headed to Holiday Inn Damai.
After a shoft rest we headed out to city. Armed with a simple map, we browse along famouse place for eats, Topspot has lipsmaking fare, but we fear it's a tourist trap & went further down the riverside to seek out Benson, famous for it's simple seafood fare. We order the big juicy Salt Baked Prawns, large lipsmaking Kan Heong Cockles, Fern & Oh Chien with large juicy oyster, total RM50.

After a short break, we loaded our gear & try our hand fishing beside the hotel front. We near a small stream flowing cold water out to the warm sea... This place is loaded with small fish. jason managed to catch a fairly med sized catfish, while i caught small zeebra & small catfish, all baited with white squid. Jason tried to bait a large red garupa, but managed to turn away at the very last wave.
